About Interlocx

Interlocx is a platform that maps corporate structures and tracks personnel changes across organisations. We help journalists, researchers, investors, and citizens understand the connections between companies and the people who run them.

Our Mission

Transparency as a public good

Corporate structures affect everyone – from the companies that employ us to the boards that shape public policy. Yet the relationships between directors, officers, and organisations are often opaque, scattered across filings and buried in announcements.

We believe this information should be easy to find, easy to understand, and available to all. Interlocx brings it together in one place so that anyone can see who really controls the organisations that shape their world.

How it works

From announcement to insight

Every record on Interlocx follows a clear path from public source to searchable data.

01

Source

We continuously ingest publicly available company announcements to capture director appointments, resignations, and structural changes as they happen.

02

Structure

Raw announcements are parsed and transformed into structured records, linking people to roles, roles to companies, and companies to each other through shared personnel.

03

Moderate

Every record passes through a moderation layer before it becomes searchable. We flag ambiguities, resolve duplicates, and ensure data integrity.

04

Serve

Clean, verified data is indexed and made available through search, relationship graphs, and timeline views – ready for anyone to explore.

Data Sources

Public records, nothing hidden

Everything on Interlocx is derived from publicly available records. We don't scrape social media, buy data from brokers, or collect anything that isn't already part of the public record.

Our primary source is currently ASX announcements, where listed companies are required to disclose changes to their directors and officers. We ingest these announcements continuously, extract the structured data within them, and make it searchable.

As the platform grows, we plan to expand to additional jurisdictions and filing types, always grounded in the same principle: public data, transparently processed.

FAQ

Common questions

Is Interlocx free to use?

Yes – Interlocx is completely free. There are no paid tiers, subscriptions, or premium features. Everything on the platform is available to everyone.

Where does the data come from?

All data on Interlocx is sourced from publicly available company announcements. Our primary source is currently ASX announcements, where listed companies are required to disclose changes to their directors and officers.

How current is the data?

We ingest announcements continuously as they are published. New records are parsed, structured, and moderated before appearing on the platform – so data is typically available shortly after an announcement is made.

Can I request removal of my information?

The information on Interlocx is derived entirely from official public filings that companies are legally required to disclose. Because this data is part of the public record, we are unable to remove individual records. If you believe something is inaccurate, please let us know and we'll investigate.

Is Interlocx available outside Australia?

The platform is accessible worldwide, but our data currently focuses on Australian-listed entities via the ASX. We plan to expand to additional jurisdictions and filing types in the future.

How do I report an error?

If you spot something that looks incorrect, we'd love to hear from you. Please contact us with details of the issue and we'll look into it.
